I first met Greg when he joined Ealing Golf Club as a youngster over 25 years ago, and what struck me straight away, was his desire to improve and his unquestionable work rate. Greg Evans has my highest recommendation as an outstanding turf manager. His knowledge of the game, together with his technical know how, combine to give him a unique position in the industry. I would go as far as to say the green surfaces he has produced are the best greens I have ever putted on.

Within two months we went from a flat, waterlogged, uninspiring green to an undulating, free draining, exciting new championship standard 18thgreen! The decision to redevelop the 18th was a brave one. The work was to be carried out in the spring ahead of the golfing season, but all fears were quashed very early on with the excellent standard of work that was being carried out. Within a couple of weeks the members could see the new green developing before their eyes.
